July 2010 - Council Vacancy
The Toledo City Council is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the City Council. The term expires on December 31, 2012. To qualify for office, the applicant must be a registered voter within the Toledo City limits and have continually resided in the City for 12 months prior to their appointment as City Councilor (on or before August 18, 2009). Interested persons are invited to pick up an application at Toledo City Hall, 206 N. Main Street, Toledo, Oregon or online. The application deadline is August 10, 2010, interviews and appointment will be held at the City Council meeting on August 18, 2010, and the swear-in date is September 15, 2010.
